Aleksander Davidov (transverse flute) was born in 1963 in Chelyabinsk. He studied transverse flute at the Higher Academy of Music in Ufa (ending in 1987), complementing them with the Magistracy at the Gnesin Higher Music Academy in Moscow (ending in 2002). In 1983 he is Laureate of the USSR State Contest of wind instruments in Leningrad. In 2003 he is Laureate of the Contest of chamber ensembles in Sizran. From 1988 to 2003 he was soloist-concertmaster of the Symphonic Academic Orchestra of Volgograd, at the same time soloist of the Volgograd Opera and Head of Chair of wind and wood instruments at the Volgograd Music Institute. He participated in numerous concert tours through the best venues throughout Europe with symphony orchestra and chamber ensemble.
